Information we collect
- Account info you provide: email, username, optional location, birthday, and profile picture.
- Content you send: messages, and metadata for voice/video calls (calls are peer-to-peer via WebRTC).
- Basic technical data needed to keep the service reliable and secure.
How we use your info
- To operate the app: sign-in, friend requests, chats, and calls.
- To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
- To improve features and fix problems.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Message content is visible only to members of the conversation. Voice and video call streams are transmitted peer-to-peer and are not recorded by Funny Chat.
Security
Data is stored with row-level access controls so only permitted users can read it. Traffic to Funny Chat is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.
Your choices
- Edit or remove your profile info at any time.
- Delete your account by contacting support — this removes your messages and profile.
- Block or reject friend requests from users you don't want to hear from.
Children
Funny Chat is not intended for children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under the minimum age in your country.
